thursday april 15th > 630 to 8pm
Peach is very excited to be hosting Lowertown Wine & Spirit’s new monthly wine tasting event.
Each month a new vineyard will be expertly showcased, sampled and paired with those foods that compliment them best. A discussion about each of the selected wines will help shed light on the many variables and details that lead us to the wines we love.
We have a unique opportunity this coming Thursday at 6:30. Raptor Ridge Proprietress, Annie Christensen Shull, a native of St. Anthony Park in St. Paul will be in town and has agreed to present her wines to the Lowertown Wine & Spirit’s wine tasting group.
Space is limited to 40 people so you will need to RSVP so we will have an accurate count for the wine and cheese. To register for the Wine Experience please RSVP to info@lowertownwine.com.
There is a small $5 fee that covers both wine and food.

HOMAGE • An opportunity for giving thanks.
PLAY DATE • Time for community to come together, to share ideas, to reinforce the creative culture of Lowertown, and to reinforce the cooperative philosophy of Peach. Together, we will celebrate spring and new life, art and creativity, community and friends, and the growth of Peach. This is also an opportunity for Peach to give thanks to the generosity of all those who support it.
TIBETAN INSPIRED PRAYER FLAGS • The Tibetan prayer flag is an ancient practice used to harmonize the spiritual and physical elements of the world on behalf of others. When a prayer flag is raised to the wind, the prayers on each fluttering flag are carried on the resonance of the wind. Each person touched by the wind is then blessed by the prayers it carries.
EVENT • For this Play Date, we will be creating our own prayer flags as a gesture of celebration of the onset of spring, new life, new friends, and the blessings we share together. A variety of construction materials will be provided by Peach. If there are materials with which you are particularly interested in working with, feel free to bring them.
EXTRAS • Live music, Peach punch, and an open invitation to bring friends and make friends – all ages. Flags will fly during SHINE, our Spring 2010 Saint Paul Art Crawl event.
SUPPORT • This is a free event, however, Peach depends on the support of its community, so donations are enthusiastically encouraged and appreciated – Let’s make sure Peach and Play Dates continue to grow.
